Please note that the Center requires visitors to check the following items at the Information Desk: backpacks of any size, shopping bags, all bags and pocketbooks
12 x 16 inches or larger, and umbrellas. Wheelchairs, seeing eye dogs, and other aids for people with disabilities are allowed in the museum. There are two wheelchairs at the museum for visitor use.

From I-91 and I-95‚ take the Downtown New Haven exit onto 34 West. From 34 West‚ take exit 3. Turn right at the first light onto York Street. Proceed two and a half blocks to the Center’s parking lot on the right‚ across from the Chapel-York Garage. Parking is available for a small fee.

The Center has limited space. Metered street parking and public garages near the museum offer additional spots.There is also indoor parking at the Chapel-York Garage on York Street.

New Haven can also be easily reached from New York City‚ Boston‚ and Hartford via train service. Call Metro-North (800 638 7646) or Amtrak (800 872 7245) for schedules.
