The Yale Center for British Art offers volunteer opportunities to individuals who want to be involved with the arts. Our volunteers play an important role‚ as they are the visitor’s first contact with the museum.
At the Center‚ volunteers work at the information desk where they greet and welcome visitors who range from schoolchildren to senior citizens‚ from tourists to New Haven natives. Volunteers provide information about exhibitions and programs‚ and answer myriad questions about the museum and surrounding area. This service is vital in shaping a positive visitor experience at the Center.
Volunteers help carry out our mission of informing and educating the public about our collections. If you would like to be part of a committed group of individuals‚ possess a love and appreciation of art‚ and a fondness for interacting with the public‚ please contact Aviva Luria at 203 432 9491‚ or e-mail aviva.luria@yale.edu.
